The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) administers Title grants funded through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Collectively, these federally funded entitlement grants are intended to support students who have historically been marginalized and provide all students a high-quality, well-rounded education.
The Title grants are authorized by ESEA, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Title I, Part A §§ 1111-1127 and Part VIII General Provisions. OSSE currently administers $86 million in funding to 59 grantees.
