During the fall of the 2021-22 school year, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), in partnership with public and public charter schools through the District of Columbia, will be administering the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS).


The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is releasing a $10 million grant program for the District’s public charter schools to provide support with facilities expenses related to the return of students to classrooms for in-person instruction for the 2021-22 school year.


The Home Language Survey is provided in the attachment below in the following languages: English, Spanish, Amharic, French, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Russian.

LEAs will not have access to reimbursements for ESSER recovery grant funds between the date they submit a final FY21 reimbursement request for an ESSER grant and the date that the FY22 Enterprise Grants Management System (EGMS) application for that ESSER grant is approved.
