Menu planning is one of the most important steps for successfully managing the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The menu influences all aspects of the food service operation — from food purchasing to meal preparation.
The meal planning tool is used to ensure your adult care center is reimbursed for meals that are compliant. For best use, choose an appropriate food for each row in the table for each day of the week. Provide at least the minimum portion identified on the menu template.
