The DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) serves as the State Educational Agency (SEA) for the District of Columbia. OSSE ensures compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act 20 USC. § 1400 et seq.
Letters to households must be disseminated to enrolled participants upon enrollment, and annually thereafter. Download the letter template for your program type.
For adult and early childhood charter LEAs, ESSER II Equivalent allocations were added to their SOAR Formula Combined grants on May 7, 2021.
Enrolled participants in adult care, child care, and family day care homes must complete and submit a completed Enrollment Form/Income Eligibility Statements upon enrollment, and annually thereafter.
