Student Transportation (OSSE DOT)

The Office of the State Superintendent Division of Student Transportation (OSSE DOT) is a regional transportation system that transports eligible special needs students in the District to school each day, safely and on-time.

OSSE-DOT has more than 521 buses that travel approximately 34,000 miles each day, originating from 4 bus terminals throughout the District.

Since the District regained control of special education transportation in December 2012, the Division has established its own guiding principles as to how it will operate in the future. The mission statement declares purpose and the vision statement serves as the context in which the organization will operate.
