OSSE DOT does not transport students on District Government holidays. We recognize that some LEAs maintain operations either within or outside of the holidays listed below. OSSE DOT may provide reimbursement for the suspension of student transportation when recognizing a legal holiday.
In accordance with District Personnel Manual § 1222.1 (b), whenever a legal public holiday falls on a non-workday, the holiday shall be the Monday right after a legal public holiday occurring on Sunday, or the Friday immediately before a legal public holiday occurring on a Saturday.
