The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) provides Charter Schools Program (CSP) grantees with targeted technical assistance pertaining to the CSP grant, including guidance on grant applications, reporting, reimbursement requests and compliance with federal regulations.

Professional Learning Opportunities
OSSE uses CSP funding to provide professional learning opportunities to all charter schools in the District of Columbia on a variety of topics. Slides, recordings, and/or other resources from recent professional learning events are posted below.

Restorative Justice
Materials from OSSE’s Circle Up Summit, a full-day restorative justice convening held in June 2023, and three pop-up sessions held in September 2023 that were focused on fostering family engagement.

Best Practices Archive

Previous CSP grants have supported the dissemination of a variety of best practices used by high-quality charter schools in the District. OSSE has created an archive of those best practices, including descriptions and resources provided by the grant recipients.
