Four Things to Know
1. The duplicative enrollment policy is being enhanced to include guidance on how OSSE will resolve duplicative enrollments after the Enrollment Audit has concluded.
2. A new Duplicative Enrollment application will facilitate the resolution of the multiple enrollments throughout the school year.
3. The new Duplicative Enrollment application will allow LEAs to review the outcome of the deduplication resolution process in near-real time.
4. Training will be offered on the new Duplicative Enrollment policy and application throughout summer 2019.
What's New
- OSSE to resolve duplicative enrollments throughout the school year
In response to LEAs request for OSSE to intervene and resolve duplicative enrollments throughout the school year, OSSE will release a new Duplicative Enrollment application to assist with this process.
- New policy on duplicative enrollments
OSSE currently has a policy on resolving duplicative enrollments during enrollment audit; however, the policy does not address after the enrollment audit has passed. The new policy will take duplicative enrollment resolution throughout the entire school year.
