The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) grants administered by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) support the establishment or expansion of a broad array of services to students during non-school hours (i.e., before school, after school, on weekends, and during the summer) or extended learning during regular school hours.
Legislation
The 21CCLC program is authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015.
