The OSSE/Action for Healthy Kids Teacher Wellness Symposium was held on August 11 and 12, 2014. This two-day workshop consisted of sessions to assist all teachers in incorporating health and wellness into their classrooms, serving as health and wellness role models for their students, and addressing their own health and wellness needs. The Symposium was open to teachers in Maryland, DC, and Virginia and was attended by over 60 teachers and community-health professionals.
