Child care providers participating in the DC Child Care Subsidy Program receive monthly reimbursements for services provided to families receiving child care subsidies. Payments are made pursuant to the Provider Agreement and processed by the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) through the District Integrated Financial System (DIFS). The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) may recover from child care providers who participate in the DC Child Care Subsidy Program any overpayment of funds based on audit findings, late terminations and/or calculation errors.
