A survey was provided to all DC LEAs requesting their feedback on two alternative test windows for DC CAS for 2014. The two choices were Option 1: March 31 – April 11 or Option 2: April 28 – May 9. The survey was available to respondents for one week, beginning April 24, 2013. Fifty people responded to the survey representing 40 LEAs. Of the 50 people that responded, four represented DCPS (central office), six were from Non-Public schools, and forty individuals represented the Public Charter Schools (PCS). It should be noted that some LEAs had more than one individual respond, but each LEA accounted for one vote.
