
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is excited to introduce the social and emotional learning (SEL) Community of Practice (CoP), explicitly designed to support teachers and instructional leaders in the effective implementation of the DC K-Adult SEL Standards and practices.
CoP participants will:
- Present and analyze problems of practice to develop strategies for advancing SEL integration across content
- Learn about ongoing professional learning opportunities and resources to support school needs.
- Provide insights on OSSE SEL artifacts and resources to inform implementation support.
- Be part of a supportive network of instructional leaders that values equity, student success, and whole-child development.
