Resources for Instructional Planning and Delivery to Support All Students

OSSE is committed to helping accelerate academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities. According to the National Center on Educational Outcomes (NCEO), 85 to 90 percent of students with disabilities can perform at grade level when provided with appropriate services and supports. These resources are designed to bridge the research-to-practice gap and are intended for use in educator preparation programs and professional development for practicing professionals.

Universal Design for Learning

Universal design for learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. CAST is a nonprofit research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals through UDL.

Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Resources

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a professional association of educators dedicated to advancing the success of children with exceptionalities. As part of their mission, CEC provides many free resources, professional development series, research articles and tools.
