The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Division of Health and Wellness seeks experienced practitioners, community members and graduate students to serve as volunteer peer reviewers for the Healthy Tots Wellness Grant.
OSSE has released a competitive grant application which will be awarded to District of Columbia non-profit organizations. We invite individuals who meet required qualifications to apply to serve as grant application reviewers by Friday, March 31, 2023.
We are specifically seeking peer reviewers from various professions and backgrounds, including neutral, qualified professionals who have knowledge, skills or expertise in early childhood applications and/or one or more of the following areas:
- Physical Activity and Education
- Farm to Childcare and Local Food Procurement
- Staff Wellness Culture and Program
- Outdoor Learning/Environmental Education
Applicants whose applications are approved will be added to a pool of grant reviewers which will be contacted with specific submitted applications and dates as the grant application is launched and applications are received. Reviewers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis until available opportunities are filled.
