This workshop will provide school leaders and administrators with best practices, systems, and resources for creating inclusive schools and for ensuring full access for students and parents with limited English proficiency. This workshop explores (a) the demographic data and profile of the District’s foreign-born populations (b) local requirements for providing interpretation and translation services and (c) resources LEAs can use to provide meaningful access to limited English proficient students and parents.
