OSSE’s Division of Elementary, Secondary, and Specialized Education has prepared a brief training video to assist LEAs in preparing to serve students with disabilities at the start of the new school year.  The presentation will discuss child find obligations, evaluation and IEP responsibilities, state-level special education policies, and how to obtain student special education records.  The training will also showcase a variety of OSSE resources available to support LEAs in their special education programs.  LEA and school-level leadership and special education staff are encouraged to view this presentation.
