Exploring Nature on School Grounds Webinar

Last Date:

Details:

This training is required for all school garden grantees, however it may be useful for anyone looking for guidance on implementing environmental education on school grounds. The School Garden Grant requires that recipients must engage students in one meaningful watershed educational experience per grant year (total of two for the full grant cycle). Based on the applications that OSSE received, it was clear that this requirement was the least understood and therefore is a priority of the School Gardens Program (in partnership with the Environmental Literacy Program) to train recipients in best practices associated with this requirement. Much of the text is directly from the Chesapeake Bay Program’s MWEE Guide.
