OSSE seasonal menu templates and nutrition breakdowns are designed to guide schools in serving healthy and enjoyable meals while meeting the School Year 2014-2015 USDA Meal Patterns, Healthy Schools Act, and HealthierUS School Challenge requirements. With 5 weeks per season, the menus include seasonal and local produce options, and incorporate weekly meal pattern breakdowns, nutrient analyses and USDA standards per grade group.
