OSSE Releases Final Rulemaking on Certificates of Approval for Nonpublic Schools Rates

The final rulemaking establishes special education tuition and related services rates

OSSE Issues Final Rulemaking on "Nonpublic Special Education Schools and Programs Serving Students with Disabilities Funded by the District of Columbia and Special Education Rates"

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) has released final rulemaking Chapter 28, subtitle A of Title 5 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) entitled “Nonpublic Special Education Schools and Programs Serving Students with Disabilities Funded by the District of Columbia And Special Education Rates.”  The final rulemaking establishes special education tuition and related services rates.  The effective date for this rate setting rulemaking is Monday, August 1, 2011.
