The Office of the State Superintendent of Education releases the Approved Supplemental Educational Services (ASSP) List for SY 2008-2009. In accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), Local Education Agencies must ensure that students from low-income families who are attending Title I schools that are in their second year of school improvement (i.e., have not made AYP for three or more years), in corrective action,
or in restructuring status are eligible to receive these services.
