(Washington, DC) – The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) will host the 2021 Adult College Completion Fair completely online on Saturday, April 17, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Fair will give adult learners a free opportunity to learn about the many resources supports available to help achieve college completion.
“The Virtual Adult College Completion Fair makes it easy for adult learners to connect with representatives from colleges and community-based organizations and learn about their options for postsecondary education,” said Interim State Superintendent Shana Young. “Participants can log on to the event website, chat with experts in postsecondary education, and access a wealth of information.”
The Adult College Completion Fair is open to all adults 18 years of age and older who are interested in going to college or earning a postsecondary certification. The event will provide opportunities for attendees to explore college and career interests, discover adult-friendly postsecondary options, and find ways to pay for their education. The Fair will also include resources specifically targeted to early childhood educators who need to earn an associate degree.
Admissions and enrollment representatives from the following colleges and universities are scheduled to attend the Virtual Adult College Completion Fair:
- University of the District of Columbia – Flagship
- University of the District of Columbia – Community College
- Catholic University
- Drexel University Online
- Montgomery College
- Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)
- Trinity Washington University
- University of the Potomac
- Walden University
The Fair will be hosted via WebEx, allowing participants to join from any device, browse the website and the event schedule with clickable links to access each workshop and vendor.
