Second year for DCTuition Assistance Grant Program

(Washington, DC) Mayor Anthony A. Williams will be joined by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton as they kick-off the second year of operations for the DCTuition Assistance Grant Program. They will reflect on the success of the first year of the program while sharing the vision of the future.

Through the DCTuition Assistance Grant Program, city residents may qualify for a grant to attend over 2,500 public institutions in the country. This grant pays the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. Last year the program received over 3,400 applicants and helped over 1,600 students.
