Mayor Hosts 1st Annual College Fair

DC education stakeholders and students will speak and representatives from the over 60 colleges

Thousands of DC students, parents, colleges, private scholarship providers, and education stakeholders join Mayor Anthony A. Williams in a landmark college fair.

On Friday, September 15th, Mayor Anthony A. Williams, the DC State Education Office (SEO), and the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will host a historic event: the 1st Annual Mayor’s College Fair for rising high school seniors in the District of Columbia. The fair will be the first time all of the DC education systems (public, public charter, private, and parochial), colleges from across the country, and private scholarship providers will come together to promote the goal of going to college. Thousands of DC students, parents, and education stakeholders will attend the fair.

DC education stakeholders and students will speak and representatives from the over 60 colleges, the US Department of Education, and private scholarship providers will be on hand to answer questions about going to college.
