Washington, DC–On Monday, May 3, 2010 the DC State Board of Education (DCSBOE) begins recruitment efforts to fill two Student Representative slots. The State Board will post the application and manual on the State Board of Education website’s Student Representative page for online access. Additionally, applications and manuals will be distributed to local schools, through community organizations, through the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, and may be picked up at the State Board of Education office at 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 723N, Washington, DC 20001.

Applicants who wish to submit via email may do so at [email protected] or hard copy to the above listed address. All applications must be received in the office of the State Board of Education by close of business Friday, July 9, 2010.
