The DC State Board of Education (DCSBOE) will hold a public hearing to review the proposed accountability workbook.

The hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 6 pm at 441 4th Street, NW, in the District of Columbia State Board of Education Chambers, located on the lobby level of the building.

Please review the presentation [PDF] by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) to the State Board at the March 17, 2010 public meeting. The accountability workbook will assist in the District’s ability to receive funding from the federal government.

Constituents who wish to comment at the public meeting are required to notify the State Board of Education by the close of business Tuesday, March 2, 2010 by contacting Executive Director, Beverley Wheeler, by phone at (202) 741-0884 or by email at [email protected] . Please provide one electronic copy and bring 15 copies to the hearing for the board members to view.
