The District of Columbia State Board of Education held its regularly scheduled public meeting Wednesday, August 27, 2008.  At the meeting, the State Board received a presentation on the proposed standards for modern world languages.

Constituents who wish to comment are required to notify the State Board of Education in advance by contacting the executive director, Beverley Wheeler, by phone at (202) 741-0888 or by email at [email protected] before the close of business Tuesday, September 30, 2008.

The meeting will air live on DSTV Comcast Channel 99 and RCN Channel 18.
