(WASHINGTON, DC) – The State Education Office’s program DC Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (DC GEAR UP) unveiled enhanced website features to the public today. DC GEAR UP students and parents, volunteers, and interested community members will all be served by the expanded information offered on the site. To view new pages and the exciting projects the DC GEAR UP students are involved in, select the link below.
Each DC GEAR UP Sector has its own page, to highlight the unique activities in which the students attending those schools are taking part. Parents looking to learn more about the sector their child is in, or wanting to contact their child’s coordinator have their own page as well!
There is something for everyone on the resources page, a great starting point for those interested in learning more about college access and readiness. “We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve our students, families, and community-at-large in a new and informative way,” said Pamela Taylor, DC GEAR UP Program Director.
