DC Applies for Waiver to 1 Percent Cap on the DC CAS-Alt

OSSE Submitted a Request for a Waiver to the US Department of Education on April 9

After gathering comments from LEAs, OSSE submitted a waiver request on April 9 to the US Department of Education to allow up to 1.2 percent of all tested students scoring proficient or advanced on the DC CAS-Alt to be included in accountability determinations for 2010.
