Days/times site is open for field trips – Wed, Thurs, Fri 10-11:30 a.m. & 1-2:30 p.m.
Grade levels welcome – Pre-K to 12th grade
Length of field trips – 1 1⁄2 hours
Travel time from downtown DC – 15 minutes
Student:Chaperone ratio – 7:1
Protocol for inclement weather – Canceled for thunder/heavy rain/excessive mud; decision made jointly with teacher morning of the trip.
Cost of field trip – $100-200 depending on school population’s percent free reduced price meal eligibility.
Lunch – Students can bring their own to eat at on-site picnic tables.
Dress code – Closed-toe shoes and weather appropriate attire.
