The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) District-wide Child Care Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (CCEPRP) is an operational plan for emergency incidents affecting child care facilities across the District of Columbia that require action by OSSE’s Division of Early Learning (DEL). The CCEPRP was developed to comply with the requirements of the Child Care Development Block Grant (CCDBG), as outlined in the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Final Rule, 45 C.F.R. § 98.45 (c) (2016) at § 98.16(aa), to meet the needs of children and families and ensure the continued delivery of safe, quality child care services during and after an emergency incident.
