2018-19 OSSE State Science Leadership Team – LEA/ School-level Science Leadership
OSSE’s State Science Leadership Team consists of LEA-level science leads, higher education partners, and community partners focused on science education. Through bimonthly meetings, this group will support the implementation of high-quality K-12 science instruction across the District. This committee of key stakeholders meets to share best-practices, provide critical guidance and feedback to OSSE on the implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and work with the team to identify evidence based programs, tools and processes that increase access to high-quality science learning experiences for all students. Each month, OSSE leadership from the Assessment and Teaching and Learning teams will facilitate meetings focused on key implementation areas. The 2018-19 meetings will take place from 1-3 p.m. on the following dates:

OSSE’s State Math Leadership Team consists of LEA-level math content leads, higher education partners, and community partners focused on mathematics education. This committee of key stakeholders meets to collaboratively design programs, share best-practices, provide critical guidance and feedback to OSSE on the implementation of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSS-M), and work with the team to identify evidence based programs, tools and processes that increase access to high-quality math learning experiences for all students. OSSE leadership from the Assessment and Teaching and Learning teams will facilitate bimonthly meetings focused on key implementation areas. The 2018-19 meetings will take place from 1-3 p.m. on the following dates:
