Phase II Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) ESEA Consolidated Application Training

To assist local education agency (LEA) leaders and grant managers in meeting the requirements of the Title programs and develop and submit approvable FY22 ConApp applications, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) ConApp team is offering a series of training webinars this spring and summer as listed below. FY22 ConApp Training Webinars

FY22 ConApp: Schoolwide Plans Requirements

This training explains the requirements of all Title I schoolwide programs (consolidated or unconsolidated). Tools and templates to assist academic directors and grant managers in developing a compliant and effective program plan are also included in this training.

Suggested audience: LEA grant managers and academic program officers

FY22 ConApp: Parent and Family Engagement Requirements

All recipients of Title I-A funding must develop policies and conduct parent and family engagement activities to be in compliance with ESSA. This training explains the requirements for LEA and school activities related to parent involvement and provides tools and templates to meet all requirements and foster best practices in this area.

Suggested audience: LEA grant managers and parent/community liaisons or directors

FY22 ConApp: Title IV-A Needs Assessments and Evaluation

This webinar is designed to help education leaders understand how to conduct the needs assessments and evaluations required for Titles IV program design. We will clarify what ESSA requires, discuss data sources and analysis, and explain the continuous improvement cycle for the Title IV recipients.

Annual ConApp Webinars

The following webinar series is required for all LEAs applying for ESEA Titles I-IV funding in FY22. One presentation for each Title is offered at a variety of dates and times. LEA staff should choose the combination of presentations that covers all allocations received, and best meets your scheduling needs. This year, we are also offering a combined presentation for Titles I, II and IV recipients.

This webinar is a primer on Title I­A funding. The webinar explains allowable uses of funds, the application process and required policies, activities, planning and financial reporting.
