Background
OSSE, in partnership with Ed Forward DC, is providing select 2023-24 OSSE School Climate and Culture Advisory Cohort members with microgrants to build the capacity of their school community to understand, utilize, and respond to the results from the school culture and climate spring 2024 Panorama survey administration.

Specifically, DC public and public charter schools that receive these grant funds will use them to:

  • Support school staff in understanding, reflecting, and acting on data.
  • Develop and launch engagement opportunities with specific stakeholders (teachers, students, and caregivers) in response to survey trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement interventions, resources, or systems responding to survey trends and patterns.

In spring 2025, OSSE will release a comprehensive citywide learning brief based on learnings from these microgrant projects. This brief is intended to provide strategies for DC schools to understand and respond to their own findings from the statewide School Culture & Climate Survey administration.
