January is College and Career Readiness Month

With 80% of new job openings in the next decade expected to require high-level training or postsecondary education, it is imperative that students are college and career ready for higher education or postsecondary training.  Being college and career ready is an excellent way to increase lifetime earnings and ensure success beyond high school, so in celebration of OSSE’s College and Career Readiness Month In January, look out for:
 

  • Tips on how students and parents can adequately prepare for college and careers.
  • Information on OSSE resources that students and parents can utilize to prepare for life after high school.
  • Features on exemplary schools and programs that are working to ensure students are ready for the workplace and higher education.
  • Features on OSSE programs and other community resources designed to help prepare students for life after high school.
