The College Rising Mentorship Grant (College Rising) provides mentorship to high school students enrolled in District of Columbia public or public charter schools and assists them in navigating high school, taking dual enrollment courses, and selecting and applying to college. The high school mentorship services are administered by grant-funded community-based organizations (CBOs) for College Rising participants. College Rising Mentorship Grant Recipients (FY23)
Two CBOs were selected through a competitive grant application process to receive funding to provide mentoring services to 300 College Rising participants. Fiscal year 2023 grant awards included:
