2015 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Testing Dates Announced

The District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) announced that the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) will be administered January 26 through March 6. Sampled students across the District in grades four, eight, and 12 will be assessed on the nation’s largest continuing measure of student achievement.
DC to Host First Stakeholder Meeting for the ESEA Waiver Renewal Process

OSSE is launching DC's ESEA waiver renewal process. As you may know, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently announced to states the opportunity to renew expiring waivers. States are required to submit an application by March 31, 2015, for consideration. ED has also required states to submit an updated plan to address equitable access to quality teachers.

- body aches
- headache
- chills
- fatigue
- sometimes diarrhea and vomiting
*It's important to note that not everyone with flu will have a fever.
