The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires state education agencies (SEAs) to provide equitable services to private schools using state activity funding from the District of Columbia’s Title II-A and Title IV-A grants.
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), as the SEA for the District of Columbia, will provide private school educators and leaders the opportunity to participate in professional learning opportunities currently offered to public school educators. The courses and training sessions may be accessed in the OSSE Learning Management System (LMS), which requires a user account.
To set up a user account for private school educators for the LMS, please complete the Private School Educator Access Form here. You will first receive an email from OSSE confirming the submission of your form and then an invitation to create a login for a new account for the LMS. Once your account is established, you will have access to the LMS, course offerings, and registration.
If you have any questions about the LMS or creating a login, please contact Stephanie Thomas at [email protected].
