The third quarterly webinar in the 2024 nonpublic point of contact (NP POC) webinar series provided participants with updates and reminders in the areas of OSSE monitoring activities, Special Programs, the District’s online system for the educational records of students with disabilities, OSSE transportation, and OSSE’s course and calendar data collection. The webinar leverages OSSE’s position as the state education agency for the District of Columbia to convene stakeholders and provides a forum for NP POCs to share innovative approaches and best practices with their peers and counterparts. In this webinar, the Foundation Schools, Accotink Academy, and Youth for Tomorrow share strategies for recruiting and retaining certified teachers.
