The Office of Public Charter School Financing and Support (OPCSFS) manages the District’s federal Charter School Programs (CSP) Credit Enhancement grant from the United States Department of Education. This grant helped establish the Office of the State Superintendent of Education’s (OSSE’s) ongoing partnership with the Charter School Incubator Initiative (CSII). OSSE uses this funding to provide credit enhancements to the CSII which in turn supports charter schools with obtaining, maintaining, and/or renovating facilities.
