WHAT: The inaugural meeting of the newly formed District of Columbia State Athletics Commission will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, 6 p.m., at OSSE 810 First St., NE, Fifth Floor. Commission Members have been appointed by the Mayor and have been approved by the DC City Council. Commissioners will be sworn in by the Mayors Office of Talent and Appointments and will immediately begin to work. The top item on the agenda for the inaugural meeting is to set the meeting calendar for the remaining of the year. The public is invited to attend.
