January 2017 Nonpublic SEDS Point of Contact Webinar

The NP SEDS POC is responsible for ensuring access and providing training for nonpublic staff using SEDS (Special Education Data System or ‘EasyIEP’) to document special education services provided in a nonpublic setting.  NP SEDS POCs are also responsible for ensuring nonpublic staff is familiar with OSSE state-level special education policies, troubleshooting SEDS issues in coordination with LEA SEDS POCs, and submitting and responding to tickets in the OSSE Support Tool (OST) for SEDS related issues. Each webinar will discuss various topics, including:

  • SEDS updates and alerts
  • The release of new OSSE special education policies
  • OSSE Support Tool updates
  • Data quality, including enrollment, records transfers, compliance reports, etc.
