The OSSE Nonpublic School Monitoring and Compliance Team conducted an informational webinar to introduce local education agencies (LEAs) and nonpublic special education schools to the revised nonpublic monitoring process that will take effect starting in the 2015-16 school year. The webinar provided information on:

• Revisions to the monitoring processes, including an overview of the new process for conducting student file desk reviews;
• Revisions to the nonpublic onsite monitoring visit protocol; and
• OSSE’s expanded targeted technical assistance to address identified noncompliance.
