The Introduction to the Administrative Review (AR) training is designed for School Food Authorities (SFA) who have been selected to receive an AR during the current school year. The AR is a State Agency monitoring process, authorized by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (HHFKA), designed to examine a SFAs compliance with federal requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) school meal programs. As part of the first step in the AR process, this mandatory training is designed to provide attendees with information on the process, expectations, and potential outcomes of the AR.
