Personal Wireless Communication Devices

The following materials have been assembled by OSSE to support District schools in managing personal wireless communications devices, most commonly cell phones, in their learning environments.

OSSE’s Model Personal Device Policy (coming March 1): Required by the Disconnect Act of 2025, this model policy is designed to help guide local education agencies (LEAs) as they develop legally-compliant personal device policies for their school communities.
