Help Design DC’s Report Card

Two Options:
Host with Computers – Host with Paper

Download the Toolkit in: Spanish

Thank you for considering having a conversation about designing DC's school report card with parents and families in your network. Your engagement is critical as we design the best, most useful report card tool for parents and families. As you think about your session, know that there are two ways to host a session – one where you have access to computers and can do the activities online, and one where you use paper and pen to get feedback. Everything you need for both types of sessions is below. Thanks so much again for taking the time to engage your community to help us build a school report card that works for our families in DC. We couldn’t do it without you!

First Things First – Prepare for Your Session! You need to decide whether you want to host a session where participants are using computers and the internet to complete the activities, or whether you want to do the session with paper and pencil. Let us know if you need help with getting access to computers or other types of support. Then, read up on the background you need to know for the report card session. Finally, get the word out!

Submit Your Feedback. If you hosted a paper-based session, you can scan your feedback and send it via email. Or, you can request that an OSSE team member come pick it up. If you hosted a computer based session – we already got it! Thanks again for helping to build our new report card tool.
