Total Federal Stimulus Funds

This section provides an at-a-glance summary of all federal stimulus funds received by OSSE. This includes the Elementary & Secondary School  Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds, funds directed to OSSE through other federal programs included in the federal stimulus bills, such as the Child Care Development Funds (CCDF) discretionary funds, as well as federal stimulus funds that were allocated to OSSE through the Mayor's budgeting process.

Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) ​Funds At-A-Glance

ESSER funds represent a portion of the overall federal stimulus funds and are called out here due to their scale, representing more than half of the total federal stimulus funds committed to OSSE. ESSER funds are granted to OSSE by the US Department of Education.
