The Department of Employment Services (DOES) is working diligently to ensure that the District has a competitive workforce, resulting in full employment, life-long learning, and economic stability for all District residents. Participants in this session learn the DOES programs and services that support District youth and adults in preparing for, obtaining, and retaining employment in the regional economy. DOES offers specialized programs and services, including vocational training, employability/life skills training, educational services, job readiness skills, individualized coaching, paid work experiences and unsubsidized employment.
