Early Learning Professional Development Course Offerings

Updated: July 2024

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) offers numerous professional learning courses to members of the DC early childhood workforce. Early childhood educators, child care providers and administrative staff can access courses via OSSE’s Learning Management System (LMS) and Quorum®.

OSSE LMS Courses
The OSSE LMS organizes eLearning content in a centralized location, provides unlimited access to professional learning and tracks and maintains user progress. A schedule of training and professional development sessions scheduled through September 2025 will be available soon. The OSSE LMS course catalog is updated throughout the year as new courses are scheduled. To access the OSSE LMS, go to osse.pl.powerschool.com.

Quorum Courses
Quorum offers unlimited training, including all 120 training hours needed to obtain or renew a Child Development Associate® (CDA) credential. Quorum courses are based on developmentally appropriate practices for young children, scientific research and best practices in adult learning. To access Quorum and view courses offerings, go to quorumlearning.com.

For questions or technical support accessing the OSSE LMS or Quorum, contact the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Help Desk at [email protected] or (202) 478-5903
