The DC School Report is presented differently this year due to the variety of ways schools operated during the COVID-19 pandemic and the data available. DC received waivers from the US Department of Education suspending the administration of statewide assessments and accountability (STAR) ratings for both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years, so these data are not available to be reported.
While this year's report card will not have all of the data available in pre-COVID years, we are committed to sharing the high-quality information and school performance data that will help you engage with our schools and education leaders as we re-open and build back stronger.
